These Muskoka Chair Kits are made in Canada from Canadian wood, this one is in red cedar.

Although they are made of wood, the design makes them extremely comfortable without the need for a seat cushion.

The contoured back and curved seat slat are key to the comfort of this chair and these design features sets them apart to other chairs of this style.

The Western Red Cedar Muskoka Chair is slightly larger than our Pine Muskoka Chair and the approx overall size is:Height - 96cm; Width - 86cm; Depth - 91cm

The paddles (armrests) are also wider at just under 7 inches (17 cm).

Measurements are approximate as kits are handmade and slight size variation should be expected.

This kit contains all of the parts in British Columbia Western Red Cedar, instructions and stainless steel screws so you just need to screw it together, finish it and enjoy it! Western Red Cedar will weather to a silvery grey or oil/stain it to keep the colour.We do not recommend painting Cedar as the natural oils could react with the paint. So if you want a painted chair, it may be best to choose the Pine instead. Assembly takes 1-2 hours although the record is 29 minutes!
