FROST INFORMATION: Please note that although these pieces are fired to a high temperature to enable them to withstand a varied climate, in freezing temperatures no clay is truly safe, so please protect your delicate terracotta by removing it to a dry place (a shed or garage perhaps) in the winter weather. This will ensure that your handmade terracotta lasts a lifetime.

Small - Measures approx. 19cm long x 15cm wide x 4cm deep

Terracotta clays have been used throughout history in the construction of functional pottery and decorative ware. These ranges include classic and quirky giftware made locally in England from Stoke on Trent clay and using only the best etruria marls. Suitable for use inside the home, or outside in the garden.

As these pieces are made from a natural material they will have variations in colour, tone and texture. These natural variations add to the individual flavour of the piece, giving each its own unique character. Most pieces are also available in standard or oxidised finishes, the oxidised finish requires an extra firing process and gives more definition to the piece by adding a darker highlighting top layer.
